Cedar House Gallery will be hosting its first ever live play in the back courtyard!
The Metromaniacs, by David Ives, is the inaugural production of The Diversified Theater Collective. Mistaken Identity, misplaced ardor, and a fight for true love ensue in this modern adaptation of Piron’s classic 1738 French Farce. Add to the chaos some scheming servants, pseudonyms and disguises and there is much to untangle before love-plots are resolved and a happy ending found. With his sparkling wit and brilliant sense of comedic timing, Davis Ives brings a new shine to this lost classic.
The DIversified Collective is an up and coming theater company with a mission to bring theater to all audiences, no matter their background. We believe that the same stories can be told by different voices.
